At times silence works better than empty talk.
At times, we make assumptions about people based on their facial expressions. We never know what’s going on inside that person’s mind or heart. A deluge of intense emotions. A preoccupied mind. A reverberating thought. Just give that person some time and space. This applies to all relations: friends, professional, familial and in laws. Some people wear their emotions on their sleeves, and some take time to reveal their feelings.
Don’t take everything at face value. Just give some time to make a relationship work. Preconception is the biggest enemy, and, most of the times, ruins relations.
Overindulgence in merrymaking dulls our senses and we become oblivious to the realities of life.
Ears and mouth should be used proportionally, so we ought to listen more and speak less.
