As you age, you realize the matters which bother you the most were nothing but the naivety of your younger self. You live a major part of your life thinking what other people think about you. But in reality, you’ve been tarnishing your mind and soul for such a long time that slowly and imperceptibly it becomes a part of your personality.
Just for a moment, take a deep breath, close your eyes and think how much time you spend thinking about other people. You’ll realize that you’ve hardly spent a minute pondering about them.
It’s better to grow out of this illusion of self-importance. It’s a materialistic world. You are the only one who can save yourself from tormenting your soul. Try to be your own soul-saver. Nobody can save you except yourself.
